What do factions like AS/Emi/WG have that we don't? I guess the 3 things they have that we don't are #1 Lots of Expert level families #2 Lots of *active* families (online more than occasional weekends only) #3 Expert level families with ballz trippin' equips. I'd like to see us start recruiting veteran level families but for now lets zero in on what we already have to work with... about 10 active vet families with a smattering of active non-vets... Possible actions to make Reso stronger: 1. Focus on leveling lower level families? 2. Focus on helping equip lower level families? (we are already doing this though the VM and distro system) 3. Focus on leveling *our own* families to expert? (perhaps we should go in groups to higher level maps? 4. Focus on getting our paws on E.92/E.100 level equips? 5. Keeping fac chat from becoming clique-y and making sure we include everyone... even if it means going out of our way to draw out less talkative members:P (It feels good to be included) What I know: E92 weapons can only be crafted in LT by barons. E92 armor recipes drop in Katovic maps as well as by bosses in Bahama. E100 weapon recipes can be bough in Bahama, but they all require 30 rare drop items (like snail skin or OCP) as well as a Dragon Heart. Dragon Heart recipes only drop in Bahama.. from Frogfish I believe? Other kick ass equips from Gate of Lightning and Gate of Flame (expert level raid maps) And that as a faction we're not ready for those yet. I think with these things we can start thinking more seriously about becoming Carracci/Rembrandt powerhouses (aka CW, more powerful raid bosses, maybe trying to tackle a gate raid ) Any thoughts or suggestions?

agree.. just add negative comments: ,V.. 1. lotsa vets w/o proper eqps. cannot win against imba experts (by experience) 2. gero/diablo are not enough.. 3. expert grinding is tedious and is not rewarding(can't find the word but the point is) its all in the eqps.(experts stats not that much, +2ar/dr, +1 stat point, +2000 hpWOW, +50 SP) 4. E. 92/100 eqps. are useful.. GREATLY chipped(^^) 5. other inactive/silent/non-vet members are ok lolx positive woooooo: 1. raids need to level up! to superfights-PY, ST and Vergo (but still do gero/diablo).. gives better eqps. and PVP/battlefield experience 2. do journal 10 quests(nuts hellbreaker!!) in order to get keys(orbs) to GoF an GoL 3. farm at IoF to gt lotsa chips for imba weapons 4. el.84 armors are ok..easy to chip and get, +5 and +6 are easy too(upgrade before chip^^) 5. no comment on Dragon Heart

1. lotsa vets w/o proper eqps. cannot win against imba experts (by experience this is only really an issue in PvP raid maps like PY, is GoF GoL PvP like PY? We do need better equips but at our stage we need them in order to deal more damage to raid bosses (kill quicker, ensure loot drops to us if in a large group) agreed. But at our current equipment level we can't take on anything bigger without more people. eep! I hope my post didn't sound like I didn't want them in fac! I wish that we could get everyone involved in the factions activities and in chat, it doesn't matter what level someone is, but I do wish everyone would participate. YES!!!!!!!!!! and frogfish. excellent idea! we can boost lowbies at the same time! 2 birds with 1 stone baby! I guess our biggest mission should be to get l33t equips ;D Of course to earn them we need more depth, or start taking group outings on more powerful raid hunts. :/ Basically I'm saying that to advance it's going to take a bit of teamwork from all of us.

PVP is another thing(sorry for not being specific ) anyways, same thing, need imba eqps.

That's our inherent issue. We have people that still sign in on a constant basis according to the numbers, but rarely ever power playing. I have my days where it's Red Bull time and then afk for about 90% of the week because I'm busy.
Doesn't mean I don't pay attention or care though...
If we cut out the casual players, we cut out what Reso started as in the first place. We got those buffs so that folks who couldn't make the cut for one of the cool guy factions, gets the +3 and a sort of community.
I managed to get a lot of my equips from generally playing around with some things and then creating an insane amount of cash that usually doesn't end up being managed well.
We can get stronger as a fac, but we have a base, and when that base got stronger Reso got stronger and now no one really asks who the hell is Reso. Everyone benefits from everyone moving up. Reso members tend to join for shets n giggles, and then love the no stress atmosphere. It cuts our drama down and keeps a game what it's supposed to be, fun.
For an example of doing it wrong, look at karkid. We don't tolerate certain things. We are strong in ways other facs are not, we have an actual community that won't cut you if you're mysteriously gone for 3 weeks. We don't require that you be an expert, or vet. We don't require that you have a LeBlanc or other high level item on your character to join us. We don't even interview you with the same weird 20 questions you'd probably hear at the doctors office. We started up in around March 08. Think about the head start that beta players had if they belonged in various factions since the very beginning. We're not doing bad at all. Give it time guys, ambition is great but leveling to exp is a betch-n-a-half. We can get that cool guy stuff soon. The merge is coming, lets not lower our standards in quality of people we recruit just because of what they can do or what kind of crazy weapon they have. We made that mistake already once, in fact, we gave it a second chance. I have no problem low blowing and emotionally crippling someone with their own inadequacies if they type that they'd love to kill me.
We are still around when other relatively new factions bit the dust. Much love to y'all.

BTW, Rafflesia raid soon anyone? lol I do have an idea about equips. If we keep it all within us, and just sell to each other and not MM our high level, high dollar items, I'm sure we'd overlap in usefulness. For instance, I crafted a e92 Scythe that does less damage and has less AR than a 100 Dead Side scythe has. It doesn't mean its crap, and I'm pretty sure one of you guys might want it sometime. Things like that. I'm dead confident that if we Frankensteined all our equips together we could do stuff like GOF, after we all progress. It might seem slow, but it's a sure bet because we're always working on it.

I am doing my best to Level and Be LeVeLed ! I've also only just found the first party I'd like to make Veteran (Idge, Idge and Adelina the Pirate with that skull fetish thing... super rad). All I can suggest the faction needs improving on is talking more D:! and MORE! and worship www.swordofthenewworldwiki.com/page/Vincent+Rio more ^^

Thats right, you worship Pedro... BOW DOWN. Salda I completly agree. While I'd like to see Reso stronger and able to do more intense raids, in my mind I basically see Reso as it *is* doing these things. I have no real issue with keeping people who are only semi-active as Reso members. As long as we dont choke ourself to the point that we don't have room for active peeps who want to join Maybe I should put up a Marketplace type board for us, if anyone is buying/selling crap that they are willing to sell to the faction? This might be really helpful for those who do/don't participate in distro Sure we can't fleece our own the way we would if posting on the MM but more strong players = higher level raids = better loot next time So I think it will pay off in the end! In fact I think I'll log as Serious and do that right now.

well wispshot and kageshiro did say they enjoyed the time they had with reso during the PY bec. the fac emphasised more on fun, but they were with (ofcourse) our regular players.
Im just saying even if not vet i guess just those people that well talk and interact with others. I mean even if the standards of reso is creating a community (a fun one) and helping out lowbies. I think that they should help out reso in their own way too. Not just log in - beg - say hi - level - log out - rinse/repeat. (oh yeah i see some guys like this)
I guess what im saying is i like lowbies to be active to the fac. , just look at nik lol he's really active when he's on XD and is not shy even if he's still level'n
